here's some last minute comments for those of you who don't know how it works. Everyone needs to be dropped in the water and waiting by 9:00 at Crip's camp. Make sure to pay your $2.00 launch fee there at the cafe. After we leave... we're going to try to have an organized run, but last year it was really hard to keep everybody heading the same direction. Groups will end up splitting off and doing their own thing. Ya'll just make sure to have a good time and follow around someone who knows their way around. VHF radio station will be 72.


If you're staying for the weekend, make sure you bring plenty of food to eat for the weekend. You can eat breakfast at Crip's in the cafe, but there's not alot of places really close to eat other than the Uncertain Inn. You can always drive to some places locally, but driving is going to be a bad idea for most. Last I heard, Chicklet is going to be cooking supper Saturday night. I don't know if that's going to happen or not, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to show up with a back-up plan for feeding yourself.

Hey Rick, last night while makin a couple casts @ the dock & scopin out the shrimp (droppin off my ice chest to be magicaly filled by mornin ) one of my GF's & her hubby were just returning from a trip, after catchin their rope & helpin to tie them up she gave me a mid sized ice chest w/ a sheephead & some large shrimp she had kept for herself, I said no I don't want to take what U R keepin for yourself but she insisted, so I took it. I'm just gettin around to peelin the shrimp & guess w/ I found??? a couple dozen of a little somethin somethin I am bagin up for U, I hope the freezer in your cabin works. Ha how lucky & I almost turned them down
