CRIPS CAMP IS FULL However there are other places to stay close by Uncertain Inn and Grill (903) 789-3292 www.uncertaininn.com The main Inn is right across the street from crips camp driveway and less than 5 minute boat ride around to crips However there are a few rooms just up the street about a mile that are also part of the Inn but are not "Lakeside" ***As of 1-14-2009 there are 5 rooms available at Uncertain Inn Caddo Lake State Park (800) 792-1112 http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/find ... /fee.phtml has some cabins and camp sites for tents and I believe RVs There are: - Two - 2 person Cabins - Two - 4 person Cabins - Two - ADA (Handicap) 4 Person Cabins - Three - 6 Person Cabins Here is the info on the Cabins and other Camping at the State Park It is roughly a half hour drive to Crips Camp by boat and 5-10 minute drive by land Shady Glade Resort (903) 789-3295 http://shadygladeresort.com/ I have never seen the insides of the rooms but the cafe is nice and boat ramp on site. Bout a 5 minute boat ride to crips Hodge Podge Cottages (903) 789-3901 http://hodgepodgecottages.com/index.html This is just up the street from Shady Glade Resort and Caddo Grocery. Only inconvenience is no boat ramp on site (there are plenty around) but you could ask about parking boats on the "Fishing Pier" Spatterdock (903) 789-3268 http://www.spatterdock.com/index.html This is a very nice place! I met some guys from West TX that stayed in one of these cabins and looked inside and it gave you the old cabin or hunting lodge feel! They are a bit more pricy but well worth it IMO. One of the houses is locted right up from Crips and the rest are down by Hodge Podge Cabins and Shady Glade. If I remember correctly I think they have their own small boat ramp by the 4 houses right together. Check out the link and the site...when you click on "Guest Houses" it comes up with them in a list then click on the title for more info for each individual cabin Here is a website for some more lodging areas on the lake Some have websites and some dont http://www.caddolake.info/lodging.htm |
