I am in the Auto/Heavy Equipment repair business. I wouldn't sell a Fram filter to my worst enemy or my worst customer. They suck. Search on line for the test results on their quality. Epic FAIL.

Re: oil filter? Fram or Briggs?
I think it is unanimous. I used a fram once- it leaked in the first 5 hours! Never again.

Re: oil filter? Fram or Briggs?
cut the two apart and look how they are constructed and materials used. You will never buy a Fram again. Also I have heard something about Briggs warranties and only using Briggs filters?...?

Re: oil filter? Fram or Briggs?
Yea i'm gonna agree with the other guys. A Wix filter is about 12 bucks but worth it. i wouldnt put a fram on anything. I run mobil one 15w 50 and a wix.
