BPS squeeze throttle adapted to PD
I decided i like the idea of a squeeze throttle so when i ordered my mods i threw in the custom cable from BPS. I took all the guts out for the twist..what are you guys doing to adapt the throttle lever? I took the grip off and the alum piece is just a little to big to fit the throttle but i can make it work with a little grinding but its still gonna twist. I have a few ideas and a welder so its no biggy but i thought i would see if anyone had any input or some pics.
Getting close to putting all the mods on, i finally got my gasket set in..so im ready to roll. Test fit the MM exhaust and it looks good, so when i get the heads and carb on the exhaust will be ready to bolt up. Cant wait see what she can do!!

The part on the end of the tiller that the rod linkage bolt to. Take it and drill a hole in it and place it over the bump stop(throttle stop) ,that should keep it stationary. Hope my explanation is clear enough. What are you doing with the left over parts?

What I did was take all of the guts out of the handle, including the rubber bushings. Then I had an aluminum handle fabricated 7" of 7/8" sticking out, 1 1/2" of 1 1/8" to sit where the rubber bushing was, then 12" of 3/4" all one piece machined. I then locktite the handle in place, you could drill a hole through the handle at the 1 1/8" part and bolt it.
