Post EVT carb & intake kit vs MB carb kit
Looking to add an exhaust and carb kit to a 35MB. Anyone have any opinions on EVT setup verses MB's? Do you really see any performance gains without having head work by using EVT's intake?

You will see and honest 1-2 mph gain from Carb/Exhaust upgrade. It will have better performance all around from idle to top end.

Thanks for the reply. I'm planning sold on purchasing a kit just not sure which one, EVT's or MB's. Biggest difference between the carb kits is the intake which appears to be less restrictive with EVT. Without have head work was curious if anyone had an opinion on EVT's intake compared to the adapter MB provides?

I like the EVT intake, and the BPS throttle cable setup is well designed. Both use a rubber flange to mount the carb, one directly to the manifold and the other to a manifold adapter.

Now if Mike or Robert would turn the flange 90 degrees on their intake and have the same bolt pattern as a S&S Super G, I'd buy one just so I could run a PSI Big Air or S&S carb. ;)

Getting ready to run a S&S E on one. Built an adapter to fit my intake. If we like we may switch. ;)
