 Generac motor on a Pro-Drive?

Post Generac motor on a Pro-Drive?
I would appreciate reveiws and any information such as horsepower, torque, relaiability, rpm's etc
I have a large boat a Lowe 1960 Roughneck and tend to travel long distances and I am looking for somithing with more power than a stock motor whether thats a generac or mods or generac and mods have'nt decided any advice and info?

They didn't make the pd with a generac for very long. Unless you have found one used, or are planning on purchasing a frame and engines separately, you may be wasting your time...

If you are planning on purchasing separately, the generac will want a carb and exhaust before its ready to roll on a mm frame. Least that's the way I understand it.

I had a 27pd that cracked the block :( I put a generac on it, the mikuni is a must, it is a turd otherwise. I have it on a 1748 pd boat haven't ran it far yet but in deep water with a chop getting 28mph, not done moding. If you can find a frame cheap the generac is the cheapest motor to put on, then with the mods you still are cheaper than buying a briggs or kohler. The generac is lighter, more hp, and torque too.
