 ? relocating battery ?
What size wire are yall running when u move the battery 2 the front of the boat? going 2 get a new motor in a week or so getting my boat ready for when it gets here. It is a 35 van and aint sure what size wire i need to run 2 the front? Thanks for any help?

get some old welding leads if you can find some.....that would suit it best.

Are you sure you want to move it to the front. I am in the process of bringing mine to back in my hull. I have too much weight up front, and I have noticed the more weight I bring to the back the better my boat runs. Every hull is different but the gator Trax 1750 likes the weight in the back of the boat.

I have a 1656 go-devil and iam going 2 put a 35gdlt own it whats own your mind?

The more weight you have in the back gets more of the boat out of the water which makes less drag more speed. You dont wanna put to much weight back there though water may come over the transom when slowing down to quickly.

I used 4ga battery cable, got it from Gatortrax- they will make them to length with the lugs on them. Mine was 20' and worked great.
Each boat is different, some like weight in the back, some don't mind it up front or midships. Depends on the hull.
