I just ordered a mikuni for my 23 from chops. I'm also gonna be ordering the single crossover exhaust, too. I'm excited to see how these'll run on this motor, I've heard a lot of good things about the modded small blocks....here go the mods! I'll write up a review when I get it all put on.

My motor definitely started and idled better with the mikuni, and I gained rpms. when I finally put the aftermarket muffler on, I could then see a speed increase.

Last week I was running 27 at almost full throttle, deep water, but the boat was starting to porpoise so I had to let off. Previous best speed was around 25.5 with stock muffler. I'm guessing I can get around 28 or so now.

When I first put my motor on, my top speed was 23.4. After changing to a MB prop, mikuni and MM muffler, I've gained around 4mph and spent 1500 to do it.

well good thing i ordered the bps single cross too! it seems everyone has had similar results to yours and i hope to be part of that statistic! next run of mods will be heads and cam (when the funds are replenished that is!)
