Regular maintenance has been performed, but wondering if their is anything else that needs to be changed, checked, adjusted...whatever. motor runs great...starts right away, runs about 4180rpm in neutral and 4080 w 2 people at 27 mph....i know i need a new prop, about 3/4" misiing. also lower unit? anything need done on that with this many hours?

PD has the manual posted online for the lower unit maintenence.

For the motor, if you don't have one already, order the service manual. Not too much to check on it though as far as regular maintence. Valve clearance, spark plugs, oil, air filter, and oil filter. If it's running good, I wouldn't mess with cleaning the carb...

Ive got both manuals, just wondering what I need to be on the lookout for. Like I said, there are no problems, motor purrs, trim has moisture problems but I am deailing with that. replaced ignition and put in an inline fuse to protect wiring harness..........

Planning on a stage one kit when I rebuild engine but running too good to mess with....if it aint broke dont fix it.....

Turn your rpms back up to 4300 in neutral.
