 23 mb rpm's
2009 mb 23 has bps exhaust and thats it. i played with the governer tab and got my in the water rpm's around 4200 up from 3700. i did not run for over a min a wot. is this a safe rpm for motor or do i need to be lower. if not then what is max safe rpm's. Thanks

ur in a good range right there that is if ur prop aint worn out (what im sayin is that if ur propeller is newer(not to much wear) thats a good rpm cause as ur prop wears u will pick up rpm's!!!! and u will start floatin ur valves around 4500 so i think 4200 is safe!!!

thanks prop measures 12'' across. out of water rpm's are only about 50 higher than in the water.

You have a governor that protects you. 4200 in the water is fine- you have a strong motor.
