 mud buddy 27hp sport?
I am new to the site, mud motors, and looking for some help. I bought a 648 war eagle with this motor and it does not seem to plane out. I figured it should run on but barely hits 15mph. the prop seems to blow out of the water even trimmed down. Any help?

 Re: mud buddy 27hp sport?
Do you know the condition of the prop? May be worn, I expect that would run the standard big blade 12.25x10P.
Also, alot of product specific info on the MB forum. Do a search.

 Re: mud buddy 27hp sport?
Like DB8 said, probably a worn out prop, or possibly a bad hook in the hull.
Sent from my Droid because I'm trying to be as cool as you someday.

Sounds alot like a hook to me, if it was a worn prop it should be spinning up high rpm's
