 Mikuni carb not getting fuel
I'm about to go outside and work on my motor. Last night when I idled out of the canal everything sounded fine, but when I hit the throttle it just sputtered. In the past, this meant water or trash on the carb. Not sure if these mikunis are any different. I took the fuel line off at the carb and when the motor turns over, the fuel pump is pumping fuel out the hose fine. So it's definitely something inside the carb. The bulb on the fuel line is very tight and the visible fuel filter is very full of fuel.
When I pumped the bulb while the motor was running, I could hear it wanting to wake up. At the end of the trip the motor did wake up and run good the last 300 yards to the landing, but when loading the boat on the trailer it went to "running on one cylinder" again.
This motor is run each week so the gas is very more than 2 weeks old. I also have a fuel/ water filter on it.
I'm going to do some light maintanence and looking and then I'll come back in and check responses. Hopefully I'll come back telling you what was wrong and not looking for more advice.

I'm thinkin your onto your problem. Trash in the carb, float stuck? You mentioned Mikuni so I don't know if you have a fuel cutoff solenoid Got any of the Sea Foam carb spray handy?

 Mikuni carb not getting fuel
Took the carb off and emptied the bowl. Had a little condensation in the throat. The k&n pre filter had some water in the bottom of it, so it may have pulling a fine mist of water and messing up fuel delivery.
My boat is usually kept in a shelter, but it did get rained on for a few hours before I went the other night.
The fuel water separator had no water in the bottom of it.
I really didn't run it much to try and burn off the water the other night. Maybe if I would have idled around for a while it would have worked itself out.
Put everything back together and it cranks up and idle and runs fine, out of the water. I wish there was some way to simulate a load with it on the trailer. Off to the lake to make sure the problem is fixed.

Re: Mikuni carb not getting fuel
Sounds like ya might've found the culprit, but if not, did you try unplugging the rev box? Sometimes when they go out, they act up like that. When mine crashed, I couldn't run it over 2k rpm or it would backfire & cut out.

 Mikuni carb not getting fuel
Boat ran "good". It did have a couple times where it sputtered on takeoff, but after maybe 1-2 seconds of hesitation, it jumped on plane.
I'm gonna dump some sea foam in the tank as I feel like i might have bought some bad fuel.
