Post throttle cable mount?
Got a mikuni/marshmellow on a 2010 marine CDI prodrive. the bracket for the throttle cable doesnt line up on the motor due to the difference in the fuel pump set up on the new motor compared to the old ones. So my question is how have you guys with newer motors mounted your throttle cable? ( PICS would be helpful).

If its a BPS kit, I think they came out with a different bracket.

Here you go- it was also posted on the other site. I will post the pic when its up. Give them a call.

I designed a new throttle bracket for the PD CDI 36 horse BPS carb kit. It retrofits to the new fuel pump bracket.

I have a PD in the shop that we use for BPS part fitting and so far it works fine. I am on the road today and will do my best to post photos of the brackets this week.

We will be pleased to send new brackets for those that have the new vertical CDI engine and received kits recently. Sorry, this one caught me off guard, but I believe we have it figured out. Regardless, we will make it right. Call Micah at 801.352.8011 to order the free upgrade.

Here is the picture and text from other post:

This photo shows the bottom section of the new bracket for the carb kits. (see bottom left of photo). It mounts to two of the four crankcase ventilator cover screws.

This is set up for the new twin vertical intake we developed for release later this summer, but the throttle bracket works for any of the carb kits. Specify if you have regular or CDI engines when ordering a kit.

This is what it looks like without all the fuel lines in the way:

They called today to tell me it was going to be shipped out.I ordered a new MM exhaust with it.They had a problem with the exhaust.A weld was cracked so they were sending me the carb and i'll get the exhaust straight from manufacter.I did tell her I had a Marine edition PD with CDI.I ask what was the difference in the kit she just told me the rev limiter. If it doesnt come with the right bracket can I call Mitch to get this problem taken care of.

Its to dark to take pics, but what I did was take the cable clips/holders and drilled 2 holes (just like on the bracket that came with the kit, one bigger than the other) in the engines fuel pump guard and installed it on there. It worked really well.

Never mind I went took a couple. It probably could use a second one up top but so far its doing fine.
