went to the lake today to check on tha blinds and noticed real quick that i im in need of some mods. Had 5 pump liners in the boat and it just didn't want to push it. unloaded in calm deepwater i can get it up to 31 and a second person and an ice chest drops to about 29. what do i need to do?

Sounds like what a stock motor averages. There are hundreds of threads abotu mods on here. You have to figure out what suits you the best.

Exhaust, heads. Then you can add a Mikuni, plus a CAM. You will be very pleased with load carrying ability after adding the cam
