 Mikuni choke replacement
Broke my choke on the Mikuni. Hung the choke cable on a limb I believe and it broke the plastic nut part of the assy that screws into the carb. Searched high and low and never could find the Button Choke I have seen on a couple other carbs. Mike @ EVT hooked me up with a source for the replacement. Here is the info if your interested in getting rid of the cable choke. They run 20.00 ea. Will have to cut another small piece of the plastic shroud off to work the short choke. Also picked up the short idle speed screw and got rid of that long thing bouncing around.
Fox Distributing, 630-513-9011. Ask for Gary and tell him that you want a "Button Choke" for the HSR-42. Part # TM 29/31. Gary will know exaclty what you want.
Mikuni short idle screw part # 990-605-065.

 Re: Mikuni choke replacement
Yep you were right. It was snug on that first couple pulls but it does lock out. Thanks.

My idle adjustment broke thanks for the info.
How much was the idle screw deal?
