My RPMS were surging in my longtail so I cleaned my carb and replaced several gaskets and the throttle shaft. Compression is great and motor starts on the first pull. The RPMS no longer surger or hunt. But my motor has no slow speed now its fast only. All linkages seem to be working freely any ideas what may be wrong?

You phucked with the govenor would be my guess, take the throttle arm back off the gov. shaft and twist the shaft clockwise till it bottoms out if you are on the flywheel side.
