 New Mods, Now what RPMs?
So im in the middle of installing IM heads and a BPS cam, will finish it up tomorrow, on my 35 mudbuddy. Question is, what should i set my rpm's at now. Im running a 12.25 bigblade with a 1854 uncle-j hull. I know i just need to get my GPS and figure out what rpm it performs best at, but what should i set my out of water WOT? With the bps cam can the idle be taken down to around 1000 or so?

I'd set the OOW WOT no higher than 4400. Even though the IM heads have the valve springs shimmed, you're still running stock pistons & rods. Supposedly they're only good up to 4500. I personally wouldn't chance it, just me.

You are good up to 4500. Set idle where its steady and you get crisp response on throttle up ~1000->1100. A CDI will idle much lower (800ish) than stock coils.

 New Mods, Now what RPMs?
As far as rev limiters, do they make a 4500? Or is it 4350 then 4650?
