I have an old 18 hp LT go devil that I retired this year. I want to just swap out the engines.. I was wandering if i upgrade to a 25 hp or higher would the shaft size on the go devil be able to handle the bigger motor? Help would be great.. Thanks guys

It will handle anything from 27hp on down but you will have to change props.

i had the 18 also, you can swap largest to the kohler 27 but the handle will not be beefy like if it came new w. the 27 plus you will need a new prop, to me the cost of a new motor is to high, i would sell the frame for a couple bucks and buy used, and just think if that motor wore out you probably need a prop berins and seals whick is close to a g in itself
