Mikuni HSR 42 K&N Filter...?

 Mikuni HSR 42 K&N Filter...?I have an MB HD 5500 with the single HSR 42 carb setup.
I was just curious if anyone has found a K&N Filter that will fit the carb. I know that it has a spark arrestor on it, I am not sure if i should be going to a K&N but the tau ceti does not look like much of a filter, cannot be filtering to good. Let me know if i am way of track, has anyone else done this, and the K&N number if anyone has... thanks |

Re: Mikuni HSR 42 K&N Filter...? You get higher flow with the Tau Ceti, the pre-filter is sufficient for this application.
If you REALLY have to have one, MB may still have some of the ones they used to sell (they went back to the Tau Ceti for a reason). I may even have a used one laying around. _________________ Excel 1851F4 w/ MB35HD+R CDI with a little bit of this and little bit of that |
