 35 briggs throttle return spring

Post 35 briggs throttle return spring
I have my idle set pretty close but when slowing down after running or coming to the boat ramp I have to snap the throttle to get it to drop down to idle rpms. Its a 2007 35 gt. Is their somthing I can do to solve this.
