problems!

 problems!Went to the boat ramp today and motor wouldnt hardly turn over, i figured the battery was dead... took it to my shop checked battery and it was charged. For some reason my start would barely turn it over. I was thinkin my starter but then i pulled my pull start or attempted to and it was damn hard to pull. Much harder than usual. Any thoughts on what might be goin on?? Think my motor is seizing up ? its a 23 vanguard. Thanks for any help

Re: problems! Pull the spark plugs out and see if it spins.........and as garrett mentioned, see if any water comes out.

problems! Did all of the above, no water and it will spin but it's tough... Guess I'm gunna take it to somebody, Lil more than I know about!

Re: problems! Your valves could be set wrong or the compression release could have went out.
