Post PD not reaching full RPM's
Last week on the way out from our lease my motor just randomly started bogging down real hard. it wouldnt let us get on plane and was constantly backfiring. it finally started running better and gave me enough speed to get on plane and get back to the ramp but ever since then it wont run higher than 3600 rpm's.

Any idea's?

You would have to take the carb apart or check the valve lash. Bring it to a dealer and let them service it

Did you check to make sure the choke hadn't worked its way out? Happened to me last time out and I couldn't figure out what was going on until I got back to the dock...

...then felt like an idiot

Check all your fuel line connections. You may have an air leak. If you are using quick disconnects gets rid of them.

Did you take a spray from a wave????

If so your spark plug boots probably started grounding out on the motor....

the choke was the first thing i checked and it was fine. as for the fuel lines, i do have a quick connect at the gas tank. i'll check that out tomorrow and see if that helps. and i did check the spark plugs and changed them just in case with 2 new ones.

ill check the fuel lines tomorrow on my hunt and if that doesnt help, i'll go get it serviced.
