 GTR gear ratios
I was curious to know if GT offers different gear ratio's like mud buddy. Or do you guys with mods just adjust at the prop, i.e. pitch and so on. Gonna get mods after the season, nothing drastic. heads cam and exhaust. I have a CDI motor and if I want to up the mods a bit, i would like to know if I could gear it up or down as needed, based on rev limiter.

 Re: GTR gear ratios
Order the high rev coils (4700 rev limiter) from BPS. W/ heads and cam you will be under those RPMs.

 Re: GTR gear ratios
Talk to Mike at EVT about changing gears... it can be done but takes some modifications.

 Re: GTR gear ratios
upper gear is attached to clutch and Reverse Bolts to gear. Yes If you change the lower pulley, you shim your motor to get the tension correct in the belt. If you are wanting more Mechanical advantage you would make the Lower pully have more Teeth.

 Re: GTR gear ratios
When you change the bottom pulley you will have to change the plate the motor mounts to. The plate will need to be 3/16" thick stainless or carbon steel to make up for the strength loss on the 1/4" aluminum plate.
