I am picking one of these up, an 08 model with 67 hours. It has exhaust. What else can I do to it that will increase the power. What is the mod with the best price to power increase ratio. How much does this stuff usually cost?

Instead of 1/4 inch rope put a 3/8 if you really want to make a difference go with a 1/2 inch !!

Well all the arguing about whose motor is better, this is my first foray in to the mud motor world, and I got a good deal on the boat/motor combo so I didnt pass it up. I may very well not like the no neutral/reverse but thats something I will have to find out on my own. I am looking forward to finally owning a SD and enjoying the hell out of it no matter what make it is. Hopefully I can make it out to the SETX mud run if im not offshore. All I really want to do is gather as much info on all of this stuff as I can anyways. Thanks for the (little) help haha.
