I always have to feather (slowly accelerate) the throttle on my motor and i am wondering why. i just cannot quickly accelerate from idle. I had a mechanic clean it and go over it to find the problem and he claims it may be a defect in a port, etc., therefore, nothing can be done. it runs a tad better when warm but not enough.

What's the problem???

Just about all the stock carbs do this. I will be getting a Minkuni carb to eliniminate this.
