 Lets talk intakes
Don't hammer me too bad, searched and couldn't find any. Is the black death death intake or any other intake simply an adapter to mate up to the stock manifold just as the stick carb does. Or is it an new manifold system all the way from the heads back to the mikuni. Pics would help. Best friend has a machine shop and was debating on making a complete unit from heads back fro his and mine. But if it just the adapter so that the rubber boot can mate to it, that will be much easier.

 Re: Lets talk intakes
I only saw one pic of the BD intake. Even if the intake is ported and polished, the bottle neck seems to be the stock manifold piping. I'm supprised no one has tried to fab one yet.

 Re: Lets talk intakes
Evt sold one, but not anymore. Gecker advertised one on his website and would take your money if you gave it to him, but he's gone as well.

 Re: Lets talk intakes
If y'all make one, don't make it too big. Believe it or not the stock manifold moves plenty of air with a mild port job. You want velocity in the air so the motor doesn't have to work to get it. But do try to make one and let's see how it works.

 Lets talk intakes
Performance vtwins now has one.
I'm going to try it in the coming months.
It looks as though it'll keep the carb. further away from the exhaust which should aid in getting the engine cooler air.

 Re: Lets talk intakes
The EVT was exactly was I had in mind. Can't find much info on it. It didn't work well or the BD was just better?
