 Need a K&N filter recommendation
I'm sure this has been covered, but the search feature is not my friend today. Boat came with a brand x filter on the mikuni. Want to carry a spare, but can't match it. What something big enough so that when the underside gets muddy there will still be plenty of room for sufficient airflow from the top.
Please direct me to the previous thread or let me know what you use/recommend? Thanks!

Re: Need a K&N filter recommendation
Thanks for your help, but that looks like one for a stock motor.
Appreciate the response.

Re: Need a K&N filter recommendation
Just call Boat Dr & order one. Yours probably came with a Tau Ceti, which is even higher air flow than a K&N, but less filtration.

Re: Need a K&N filter recommendation
I think the K&Ns that MB was using were spec'd for them (so they fit between the muffler and the carb on install). The Tau Ceti spark/flame arrester with pre-filter is what you need. As for a spare, just get a spare pre-filter, no need for another filter K&N or not. Call BoatDr.
