 Why Vanny 23's push rods have different diameters?

Post Why Vanny 23's push rods have different diameters?
Vanny 35's push rods are identicle diameter. Why aren't the 23's?

Just as I thought. I don't think there is a good reason for this. Briggs just had a load of unmatched rods and used them in the 23's.
