 handle vibration
12 hp copperhead new...handle vibrates bad at mid to full throttle..what can i do to fix it or do i just suck it up and drive it like i stole it

It feels like it....its brand new..could i have gotten a bad one?...other than the vibration its badass...but its vibrated so much the exhaust bolts came loose...the women love to ride in it though

Shit happens. You could always send it back to hopkins and have them check it out, or call Gil and see what he has to say about it.

2 blades vibrate more if the leading edges are "roughed up" from hitting oysters, rocks and such --- take an orbital sander to the leading edges and smooth over the rough edges - don't try to make it look new or take a bunch of material off - just give it a quick once over - see if that helps....

The prop is brand new..it dont have any rough spots..ive only ran it through thick grass and shit...never even touched bottom yet...ill give Gil a call and see whats up

its a single cylinder engine. their going to vibrate. seems a bit much to loosen exhaust bolts though. holdin outta the water completely it still does it? pull the prop and see if it does it
