 What octane gas?
What octane gas should I be running with my stock motor? I see some people running 93 octane... I've been running regular unleaded in mine the whole time. Will changing the octane give me more performance?

 Re: What octane gas?
On stock motors some have backfire issues (mine did) 93 squared it away and I just run it that way.

 Re: What octane gas?
I'm not having any back fire issues but I will start to put 93 in my tank from now on.

 Re: What octane gas?
Only buy Chevron 93 octane from one of two trusted stations - always burn any left over fuel in the truck that is over two weeks old.... In all my boats, not just the MM....
No performance gain - just a reliability gain...
