First of let me start with what i am running, my motor is mikuni carb, heads port polished and decked, evt cam, and exhaust. I have a dead spot from 1/2 throttle to wide open i have to back off the throttle to let it catch up the i will pick up and run fine, so i checked the carb it seems to be right, running a 162.5 main jet the motor ran fine for 150 hrs with the mods on it.
I decided to do a compression check and found the the # 1 side is 145# and the #2 is 125 and it has not been wanting to idle so i pulled the head and checked the piston and cylinder seems to be fine no excess oil on the cylinder walls and smooth as a babies bottom, I noticed that my intake valve is a little on the black side and is stying wet like it is not burning the fuel but the plug looks good. I need helps guys any suggestions.

spin the fly wheel and see if the lifters come up the same. What was compression when the motor was new?

I didn't check compression when motors was first put together it sound like when running the number 2 cylinder has a little pop, litters seem to be fine and noticed the other day that I had oil come out of the blow off valve this is thereason I mdone the compression check, I'm starting the think that the valves are not seating I will call Doug hoffpower on Monday
