 27 mini issues please help
So motor was running fine last weekend out hunting, then on the way back to the ramp it just started having no power and I'm only getting about 2000 rpms tops. If I lift the prop out of the water it will rev up to 4100 rpms but as soon as I put prop back in water it does same thing. When lifted out of water and out of water on trailer will rev slowly to 4100 but just won't in water. I changed to new plugs (champions gapped at .030). Also new fuel in tank. Not sure what is wrong and what would happen all of a sudden like this. Also sprayed gumout carb cleaner thinking maybe it's dirty but still same problem. Any ideas please help. Used search feature but not really sure where to start. The motor has 320 hours and has had oil changed and all maintenance done as its my baby.

Re: 27 mini issues please help
I just use a vented gas cap
It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

Re: 27 mini issues please help
I leave the vent closed and actually loosen the whole cap. Keeps water from collecting on the cap, and still lets it vent.

Before you start tearing the engine or carb apart make sure you have spark on both sides. Your symptoms are classic for one dead cylinder. I would guess a coil.
