Prodrive lower not spinning back out of reverse
Like the title says, I started having issues with the foot getting jammed up at about the half way point when spinning it back around. After playing with it back and forth and also messing with the trim button, it finally went back in place. I noticed it last time I took it out, but it went back after two or three tries and worked fine on the trailer afterwards. It took about 10 minutes of messing with it to get it back this time and also got stuck while on the trailer. Motor is a 2015 37efi with right at 18 hours on it. Any ideas?

Possibly something to do with the washer stack on the reverse arm bolt. Ram may be getting in a bind. Could also be the solenoid that controls the selector valve for the trim and reverse. I actually had a bad solenoid when I got my boat. Talked to the guys at Prodrive and they had me a new one the next day. Call KP and he can let you know what to check.

Hydro? If so, you need to grease every zert and pump enough in there to remove all the old grease. You can also take a flat head screw driver and scrape out all the old grease around the round gear. The washer stack is helpful, but if its binding up, you need to grease it. Apply it on the teeth of the gear, everywhere. Cycle it a few times and it should be good.

Thanks for the fast responses. I'm not an expert with these motors. Pretty good at taking things apart, but suck at putting them back together. Lol. I'll try putting new grease tonight. There is no old dried out grease to scrape off. The motor is practically new. I can look at the washer stack, but not sure if I'd even know if that was the problem or not.

Grease EVERY grease zerk...cycle the reverse a couple times, grease it up again with the LU in reverse. Party on.

Re: Prodrive lower not spinning back out of reverse
It almost sounds like the tower isn't greased. Does PD still have that Zerk that is hidden behind the plug? I'm still running my 07 frame. If it is indeed still there, on the passenger side of the frame, the lower has 2 plugs, I think are 3/8 hex. If you remove the bottom one and align the lower so that it is straight, you will se a grease zerk. Remove the top plug also. When you pump grease into the zerk, you should see grease start coming out of the top hole as well as start to come out of the bottom area where it swivels around. This will not be a 2 - 3 pump greasing. When I dropped my lower and cleaned out the old shit, it may take 20 pumps.

Well I greased every zerk I could find last night as well as the teeth on the gears. Seems everything is working fine now. I looked at the manual and it says it should be re-greased every 15-20 hours. Thanks for all the responses.

Right behind the control box there is some wire connectors. One of them may be loose. It is causing it to work sometimes and sometimes not. Look at the wire connectors and see if one of them is loose or cracked.
