I just built a Mud Skipper LT kit with a Predator 212cc motor for our 14x32 jon boat from the 60s. Its my first mud motor, and even though I love it (currently I'm about the only boat that can run on the river in my county), my brother and I weigh a combined 500 pounds with the motor, and we are trying to go a little faster. I'm trying to figure out how I can cheaply modify the motor (6.5 HP stock) to give me higher horsepower. I saw some stuff online that said it was relatively easy to push this motor to around 10 HP. Anyone have any suggestions?
