I bought a new 4400 last fall first mm. Was really excited to try it out in the marsh and river. First time out getting ready to launch and the tilt wouldn't work. Screwed with it at the launch for over an hour. Gave up and took it home later found a broken wire in one of the gang plugs. With 18 hours on the motor the clutch switch went out left me floating in the middle of the lake. Put in new switch took the boat out last weekend still less than 19 hours on motor. Forward motion quits again not the switch but another elec. problem. Get it to move but now I can feel a chop in the tiller. Anyone else had similar issues.

Ed , most of these motors run awesome with no issues. I hope u get it sorted out and enjoy it for years

I have a 4400 HDR and the only thing I ran into was a minor minor oil leak in the tranny from me accidentally bumping the shift switch several times at high rpms going from forward to reverse like that isn't the best lol. Called Keith at Mud Buddy he sent me a brand new tranny under the warranty and it's golden now.
They have been professional and taken really good care of me through the years. I hope you get it figured out. Best of luck.

No problems out of mine either really to speak of. When it was brand new before my 10 hour service reverse was not acting correctly. Took it in and now all has been great ever since.
