 pro drive back fires when killing it

Post pro drive back fires when killing it
having problem with pro drive that was a 36 hp but i have done the level one kit so to speak when i turn it off it backfires. sometime when i go to start it and it is warm it also backfires a few time before starting . thinking this may be a good way to blow a head gasket. any thoughts

I would double check valve lash and remove idle fuel adjuster locks. Then dial in idle fuel.
