 Engine cranks and sometimes backfires Hello. I searched and looked for this particular issue in the forums and couldn't find it. I just installed new heads bps muffler and mikuni carb. The motor cranks over will not start and sometimes back fires. I have checked for spark and both sides are firing. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time in reviewing this.

Re: Engine cranks and sometimes backfires Also sometimes those backfires can pop the intake gasket at the head and cause a large vacuum leak. Hope u get it lined out

Re: Engine cranks and sometimes backfires Ýa I have figured out this was certainly above my level of experience and should have hired someone to do it. Didn't have much on instructions. Bought my feeler gauge and I hope I can get this running.

I feel like an idiot for not finding that information sooner. Hopefully I haven't damaged anything.
