Re: BSD Efi heads, cam, exhaust, and tuner install It's a chrome bayou surface drive emblem that you screw on to the blower housing. They're $600. Most people are seeing gains of around 6hp with this easy to install mod.

Heads, cam, tuner, Mercury 3 blade prop worked to 11.75x11.5 pitch
Boat was ran in deep water only for testing and tuning
Acceleration afr off idle is 12.7-13
Cruising is right at 13
Wot is 12.5 AFR.
If I lean Wot to 12.75-12.9,I see the cruise afr at 13.3-13.5 AFR. I richened it back to 12.5 and the boat runs great.
Other than the slip on takeoff with the mercury prop this thing has power throughout the rev range. It planes out quickly and is very responsive to the throttle. This cam seems to be something I will keep. When cruising at 30mph if I mash the throttle this thing will set u back and get right up to max speed.
It runs best speeds at 4680-4700 any more trim the bouncing is bad and the prop gets into the rhythmic action of rev limiter on-off-on-off.
I'm very pleased with this simple build for an all around hunting and fishing motor.
