Hey all! I have an older model Gator tail tiller powered by a 35 hp Vanguard. Sometimes it starts , sometimes it just clicks and won't turn over . I thought it was the starter, so I replaced it and it still did the same thing . Next, I replaced the ignition switch, same problem . The clutch switch appears to be working properly. Any suggestions on what to try next?? Thanks in advance for your response!!

Did you replace the solenoid on the starter?
What about your 12 volt wire going to the solenoid?

Check the voltage on that yellow wire going to the starter solenoid, and charge your battery.

Yep^^ low signal power on that yellow wire, unless the obvious battery connections are shit

Thank you all for your responses!! i checked the 12 volt wire to the starter and it was dead. turns out it was a corroded wire from the kill switch! Thanks again!
