My original sport shaft cracked and I just got a new one to replace it but the new one is a little different. On the prop end the old unit stuck out a bit so prop didn't touch the drive but the new one is recessed. Do I need some kind of washer because the prop is flat in the back and will hit the drive?..... Second question the front of the new unit uses a woodruff key under the pully and the old unit uses a square key. Someone mentioned that a washer should be behind the Pully too. Do I need to do anything besides change the key?.. I will try to post pictures. Thanks in advance Eric

You'll need the spacer that goes behind the clutch and an .060 spacer between your prop hub and bearing/seal housing. Call bps or
