Hey all,

So I have a few questions. Mostly being what size motor to get? I have never had a mud motor so I am new to this. I have a GlassMagic Nomad. It's 12.6 feet long and about 45inches wide. It will be mostly just me in the boat and occasionally a buddy to go fishing or hunting. It has a 3 inch draft and I love fishing in the shallows. I have destroyed my fair share of lower units on outboards so kinda why I'm starting to lean on the mud motor side.

Also I'm in College so i can't afford to buy a brand new motor from like gator tail. So I wanna do a kit version so I can save some money. Do y'all know about any good/cheaper (if that is such a thing) kits? I would prefer short tail.
