 Kawasaki 29 Mud Buddy Conversion
I have a 2004 Kawasaki 29 surface drive and I've been having continous problems out of it and I was just wondering if it would be possible to bolt a vanguard up to the frame the kawi motor came off of instead of buying a whole new frame and all. Thanks for any input

Yep.
What problems are you having with it, and what are you gonna do with it once you pull it?

Re: Kawasaki 29 Mud Buddy Conversion
Head gasket after head gasket it seems like. It was locked up when I got it and I got it running then took it out and the ignition coils were giving me problems so I took them out and cleaned them up to see if it would help then started filling the radiator back up and seen that I got a head gasket blown. Now I'm waiting on parts to come in hoping they get here before Saturday

Bring it to me, give me a couple weeks, and you'll have it back running great.

Re: Kawasaki 29 Mud Buddy Conversion
If I have any more trouble after this head gasket I might just do that. I kinda think this one was already blown when I got the motor. When I get it running it didn't feel like this side was pushing as much out of the exhaust as the side I worked on

Re: Kawasaki 29 Mud Buddy Conversion
My plan is a 35 if I do swap but I'd like to use this one. I've just had trouble with it already and now it looks like I need a solenoid

Re: Kawasaki 29 Mud Buddy Conversion
Just got the new head gasket on and then instantly blew the other head gasket. I'm done with this thing. I'm starting to unbolt this junk off the frame and picking up a 31 vanguard Monday.
