Post Anyone add Power Trim to a Copperhead Surface Drive?
Has anyone out there added power trim to a Copperhead 23HP Surface drive? I love my copperhead and i have been running them for a long time. they are super light and with my 1548 it does exactily what I want. My only issue is that our water levels have dropped so dramatically this year and the mud is thick... the motor powers through everything incredibly at speed however if i stop, sometimes its hard for me to get going again when the boats loaded with 3 guys and gear. I find that if I lower the trim to the lowest setting, it usually works fine however I have to apply a lot of upward force to keep the prop digging in down low.. I was hoping that someone out there has installed power trim on one of these and could give me some tips.

Thanks!
Bryan

power trim won't hold it down. you'll still have to lift. part of having a mudmotor. the motor has to be allowed to kick up when you hit submerged stuff or things start breaking. lengthen the handle to give you more leverage if you need to.
