Performance gains will depend on how much work is done to the heads. A good port and polish with a decking of about .050-.060 will give you some noticable gains.

port and polish
decking (like craig said .050-.060)
3 angle valve job with SS valves

Re: Heads & Mikuni - Help I don't want to break anything in there though  So I shouldn't worry cause I'm not hopping the internal guts of the engine up and still running with governor below 4250 RPM right? Not sure if the decking was included in the head job that SETX gave away... I'll have to ask.
