   |   Re: Pro Drive MaintenanceHow do you drain oil from Pro drive without it draining all over areas below motor. Is there some sort of tube attachment you can install on drain?

   |   Re: Pro Drive MaintenanceYou can add a pipe to extend it or...I made a 4"x10" catch pan with a funnel in it. Catches the drippings from the filter also. _________________

   |   Re: Pro Drive Maintenance1/2" deep so it will slide under the motor and hold itself... I have a gallon bucket with a handle I hang on it. Pull the plug, loosen the filter and let er drain.... _________________

   |   Re: Pro Drive MaintenanceJust did the first oil change on my gen3 PD. I also added the K&N E-4665 air filter. It's not an exact fit. Was it an exact fit on the older models? The cover leaves an open 1/4" gap when screwed down. Anybody have advice on fixing the fit (grind down the inside?)
One cool thing, EFI idles around 720. After installing the K&N, it idled at 910. Over the next five minutes, it adjusted back down to the 720.

   |   Pro Drive MaintenanceUse a 1-1/2" brass nipple over to an elbow and then a fumoto valve. Messy oil change problem solved very easily.

   |   Re: Pro Drive MaintenanceNeed some help guys I bought used 2004 pd 25 hp Kohler the guy told me he thought it had reverse but he had never used it . It has the pull pin on the backside of the motor but it will not pull down any ideas to get it out? I think it's a gen 1 model the manual doesn't say a thing about reverse in it is it possible the pin is jus standard on the lower unit but this model doesn't have reverse? Any help much appreciated

   |   Re: Pro Drive Maintenancealso the Champion RC12YC (opposed to the RC14YC) plugs work excellent in my 36. Bought my boat from a friend and thats what he was running, Called the part store before i pulled out the old ones to check availability and they werent showing any 14's in stock. Pulled out the ones that he had in the motor and they read "12YC", to which they had plenty. Just a heads up in case anyone is in a pinch for some plugs. _________________
