Re: GTR reverse plate Well ~ Been runnin' the last two days with the Reverse Plate ..... it works.
Is it a must have ?? .... I been without one fo 7 years ... so I cain't really type that it is a must have .... but I will type this ...... If'n you ain't gots one and you wants to do some sort of up-grade to yore GTR .... I'ma typin' it's by far the bestess money I have spent on mines GTR as far as up-grades go .....
edit: I have only been in clear deep water (runnin' lines) .... so I cain't report 'bout grassbeds or mud as of this date ....

that seal a must wihen installing that plate? or did you need a new one? i got the plate for my birthday from the best half.. no seal came with it.. don't really see that i need a new one.

thought maybe the force of the directed flow of water could compromise a stock seal...
other than that mine should be good.

Re: GTR reverse plate He just chaged his shaft seal at the same time he ordered his reverse plate. The two are not directly related at all. Common sense people!
