What you use your dick to make sure the jet's clear... that what the oooo all day/every day about?

'cuz if anyone's got a hardon for the mikuni, it's you[/quote]

Yeap sure do especially at 1/2 the price so again what's ur point? Have u swallowed to many duck nuts in ur life ;)

SO if I go mikuni I spend a grand and still have a carb I got to fuk with to get optimum results, considering I hunt from temps in the upper 70's to below zero that sounds like a pain in the ass. I think I'd be wise to spend the additional 1k and have a system that will be optimal on its own. I saw a guy fire up his new efi and walk away and let it warm up. Me I had to baby sit my 07 PD for some time and piss with it just to keep it running.

To those of us who are grown up and have real jobs 2k isn't that much money.....

I've never had to touch my mikuni since the day it was set and I have a real job and still enjoy my 1000$

To be accurate, and get the most from a carb engine. You should have to change jets for cold/warm weather. Or just can just run a little rich/lean depending on when it was tuned.

I'm all for mikuni, and I'm all for efi(when the price is cheaper). But some folks need to realize carbs are awesome because you can tune them to your liking but efi is also good because its more efficient. One thing that will be hard to get me away from the mikuni is the ease to adjust the idle. At times unlike to have it idled low and other times when I'm fishing a river with a lot of current I like to have it idled high. I'm not seeing that ease of adjustment with efi.

I have to say, i have ran my motor when it was in the Teens and ran it during teal season when it was in the high 80s carrying the same loads and i didn't notice a performance change, mater fact it ran better when it was colder

You know jets are only a couple dollars and really easy to change right? If the need ever actually arose

Do you have to wait for the Mikuni to fall off ?

No one believes that my stock GTR goes 31 mph consistently. Hoyts mechanic is working on my engine and when i get it back I'll be running 35mph. I'm not getting into the details of what's being done. You can go over there and see for yourself.
