Hey guys I am new to mud motors I am buying a mud buddy 23 mini.I was curious if I could geta few tips how to beef up the r.p.m's.thanks for your time The motor is going on a 1440 express .But would like to upgrade to a 16ft hull.

will do I will call e.v.t but my main questions are what mods should I do?Because i seen on websites they talk exhaust and with out major headwork do you guys have any recomendations?Thanks

RPM - here you will need to talk about out of water RPM versus wide open throttle in the water RPM... If there is very little difference you can tweak the governor and get about 500 extra rpm - out of water.... That may add some speed...

Prop is another possibility - go up one pitch (no more) - to see if it helps, but they usually come with the right pitch from the factory...

After that you need mo power - the question becomes - do you want to risk your warranty ??? If you are gonna toss the warranty - you might want someone like EVT to do the work.... They usually give a warranty of some sort....

If it was mine - and brand new - I might tweak the RMP governor or change props - but nothing else till it had some time on it being run like it was stolen and the possum cops was after you....
