 Engine oilI am trying to get my rig ready for the LA mud run and I need to change the oil in the engine. I was wondering if there is anything gained by using synthetic oil or should I just put the brigs oil back in it that is called for??

Re: Engine oil I use the Castrol Syntec in mine for the heat down here. Everybody uses something different. Just make sure you change it regularly and you should be fine. Just got finished with all my maintenance for the run, can't wait

Re: Engine oil A little motor info would help. I think most run sythetic. I ran mine for the first 10 hours then changed over to Mobile-1 5w30. If Im not mistaken the Briggs oil is synthetic.

Re: Engine oil I'm running Amsoil and the external oil cooler. Cooler is better in this heat!!
