 Stock carb question
Long story short. I think my fuel float valve was getting stock on my 36 Van. I removed the stock carb, and finally got the fuel bowl off. Cleaned everything real good, and also bent the tab up just a little to make the needle valve close better. But, my dumb ass has a part left over, I cannot figure out where it goes. It is a black piece of plastic, with a spring inside of it, and a small brass pin inside that. The end has slots to turn it with a screwdriver, and there is a small tab. Does anyone know where this damn thing goes on the stock carb?
I can post a photo tomorrow if you guys don't know what I mean.
Thanks.

 Re: Stock carb question
That sounds like one of your idle mixture screws or the cover to the screw. Look on top of the carb body and you should see another one on one side or the other.
